Installation Requirements

Private Driveway

We’ll need to site the Pod on a private driveway or similar. It can sit on tarmac, block paving, gravel or hard standing. If you would like it sited on grass, please tell us at time of booking. Your driveway will need to be big enough to accommodate the Pod, allowing extra room for the door, the step, access around the Pod and space to manoeuvre it into position.

Water

The water is piped to the Pod via an outside tap, usually where your garden hose pipe is connected. Ideally the outside tap should be within 25m of where the Pod will be sited. If it’s further away, please let us know at time of booking.

Waste Water

The waste water is taken away from the Pod via waste pipe. We’ll need to discharge it into a drain, gulley, man hole or soak away, ideally within 10m of where the Pod will be sited. If its more than 10m we will need to know before booking. We will also need to know if the drain is situated uphill from where the Pod will be sited.

Power

The electrics are powered via 2 x power leads. We’ll just need 2 x 13A standard plug sockets to plug into. These can be either inside or outside of the property. Ideally these should be within 25m of where the Pod will be sited. If they are further away, please let us know at time of booking.

Gas

Our Pods are delivered with a Calor LPG cannister, which will have an unknown quantity of gas in it. This bottle can easily be exchanged for a full on at your local stockists and we ask you to responsible for the cost during your hire.
